Sports Interactive and SEGA Europe on Wednesday announced that Football Manager 2010, the latest version of their bestselling soccer management sim, will ship on Oct. 30. The new edition features a revamped user interface, a tactics creator for easier modification of playing style during a match, and a match analysis tool for seeing what players are doing right and wrong, after a match or during it.
Other changes include a new data editor for making new divisions in existing leagues or creating new leagues, an in-game subscription-based news feed, revamped AI, and improvements to the 3D view of stadiums, including new animations for the 3D pitch view, new stadium crowds, better lighting, and more.
Pricing and system requirements were not revealed. Sports Interactive and SEGA Europe promise to release information about more new features in the weeks leading up to October 30.
